The following positions are available at the ABCD Inc. Early Learning Division Infant/Toddler Program:
Head Teacher: Assist the Site Manager in the management of the day-to-day functions of assigned Early Learning Division site. Associate’s Degree in ECE plus five years demonstrated success as a Teacher in ECE setting. OR Bachelor’s Degree in ECE plus three years demonstrated success as a Teacher in ECE setting. Teacher Infant/Toddler: Responsible for all educational activities in the classroom. Qualifications/Experience: Associates Degree in ECE I/T or a non ECE degree with a CDA. Plus one to two years classroom experience in Infant/Toddler Day Care/Head Start setting preferred. Good organizational skills required. Good oral and written communication skills required. Teacher Assistants Infant/Toddler: Assists in the educational activities in the classroom and aids the Teacher/Volunteers in their assigned duties. Qualifications/Experience: CDA plus 12 credits in Early Childhood Education plus two years classroom experience in Infant/Toddler pre-school setting. Starting salary: $9.42/hour for 35 hours/week. Teacher Aide Infant/Toddler: Assist in the planning, implementing, and evaluation of the operation of classroom educational related activities. Responsible for child supervision and keeping children safe. Qualifications/Experience: High School diploma with at least six months as a classroom volunteer of substitute in early child care setting Infant/Toddler preferred. Kitchen Aide: Responsible for general kitchen duties as it relates to the distribution of meals to the classrooms in the Early Learning Division.
